Welcome to my page- my name is Katherine and I am studying Early Childhood Education at Georgia Southern University. Currently I spend Tuesday afternoons at Mattie Lively Elementary and am hoping to learn a lot from my fifth grade students.
Hi Katherine! I am currently in a fifth grade class too, this should be a rather interesting semester for the both of us! So far I have learned that fifth graders mature very quick. How are your classes organized at Mattie Lively? We use a block schedule, we have four teacher in our block and each teach a different subject. I can't decided if I like this arrangment or not! You do get alot of free time:) Good Luck this semester!

I am in 3rd grade this semester and it is still a bit much for me! Im here if you need any advice:) Hope you have a wonderful semester! See you in class!
Hey Katherine! I would first of all like to say that I love your page. I like how you have incorporated links for parents and teachers and then have a separate set of links for the students. I think they would really enjoy it. Now moving on, I think I would be nervous if I was place at first in a fifth grade classroom. I really want to focus on the lower grades, but I guess you never know unless you try, right?
